About Me
Hello, you! I’m Alex (they/them), I began my professional career as a school teacher in 2017 and I have always felt a calling to educate in a productive, constructive, and healing way. Years of teaching young children taught me how to hold space for others and see the world through that raw, innocent point of view we all once held. It is my belief that most of us still walk the earth with just as tender of hearts, and my goal as a healer is to help us understand, protect, love and live with our deepest Self.
Teaching in a classroom taught me that all of our efforts to educate ourselves about the world and to live in a way which promotes longevity of earth and community are nothing unless we know our inner landscapes first. In a sense, instead of changing our environment, let’s be the environment we want to see.
Especially in current day, experiences such as burnout, loneliness, grief, anxiety, and lostness are more prominent than ever, not to mention that they are seeping into younger minds than ever before. These issues deserve to be treated respectfully, gently, and deeply. So, I have stepped out of the classroom to work directly with those who want to embark on the journey of self-discovery, self-healing, and self-love. My goal is to help each of my students find the light and love of which we are all made so that you can harbor all of life’s experiences consciously, move with grace, and respond with compassion.

Inclusivity
LGBTQIA+, People of the world majority (BIPOC), females, people with disabilities, and those in larger bodies - As a non-binary queer person I understand the mistreatment and inequality that those in oppressed minority groups incur. I understand that each layer of identity that pushes you further from power restricts your right to movement, deep relaxation, and connection. I aim to create a space, both in studio and home, which allows you to experience the freedom you were born with. “How would you move if nobody was watching?” “How would you feel if you knew you were allowed to rest?” “What would it be like to see more of your community in these spaces?” These are unfortunate questions we ask ourselves on a daily basis, and by working together we can create a new world!.
