Yoga Asana
The modern day interpretation of the Sanskrit word “Asana” is “posture,” but its original meaning is “seat.” This draws light to the understanding that the beginnings of yoga as well as the basis for many styles of yoga is stillness, seated meditation, and devotion.
However, there is much benefit to be had from moving through the different postures of modern yoga while treating each one as a place for mediation and self-study. I practice and utilize various types of Yoga Asana styles in my sessions in order to meet the needs of my students. One session may exhibit four different types of Yoga Asana styles, or it could be just one if that suites you best.

Meditation is a well-known idea to many, but it is just as unexplored. There are many ways to meditate, but it can be quite tricky to find a style that benefits us or even seems available. Not to mention, the way that the world evolves denies us of the two components which make mediation most effective and meaningful: less availability for consistency in practice, and an ever-growing presence of danger and stress.
I use Yoga Nidra and Breathwork to provide you with a period of deep rest, exploration of your deepest self, energy cleansing, and chi invigoration. Our sessions could serve the purpose of simply providing you with sanctuary, or developing skills that you can use when everyday life becomes overstimulating.
